Tattoo Preparation
Congratulations you’ve decided to get a tattoo.
Here are a few things you need to know.
- Yes, it’s going to hurt a little, some places more than others.
- Most people are tougher than they think, you will get thru it just fine.
- In preparation for the tattoo, it’s a good idea to get a good night’s sleep beforehand and make sure you’re well hydrated and eat a decent meal before getting the tattoo.
- We can provide numbing cream as needed.
Doing these three things will really help increase your pain tolerance.
Tattoo Ideas
A lot of people search for tattoo ideas online. Not everything you see online is a good idea. There are a number of areas on the body that don’t hold ink well. For example side of your fingers, the heal area of your foot. Your artist will work with you to find a viable place for your tattoo so you will have a piece that will last.
The other thing you see online a lot is script done very tiny. Tattoo ink spreads a bit over the course of time so if you make script too small it will turn into an unreadable blob in a few years. Those are the pictures you don’t get to see online. Most people are surprised when they find out how big script should be, so before you get your heart set on a twenty word paragraph please consult with one of our artist.
